I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Genetics at McGill University, and the Principal Investigator of the Computational and Statistical Genomics lab, located at McGill University and Génome Québec Innovation Centre.
My research aims at combining new computational approaches based on statistical inference and machine learning with large-scale genomics data to characterize the regulatory programs that underlie gene expression in humans. I am particularly interested in the transcriptional regulation of gene expression by C2H2-ZF class of transcription factors, and post-transcriptional processes regulated by RNA-binding proteins, such as mRNA splicing and stability.
